Special Needs Equipment Lending Program

Francesco’s Closet was established by the Faith and Family Foundation to provide special needs children with the loan of free adaptive equipment. The closet places wheelchairs, seating systems, adaptive bicycles, gait trainers and many other items directly with families who may otherwise not be able to afford such items for their disabled children.

The closet also accepts tax-deductible donations of gently used adaptive equipment from families that no longer use them. The donated items are cleaned and made available for loan to other families, so that no working adaptive equipment is wasted. This continuous flow of equipment both in to and out of Francesco’s Closet ensures the most efficient use of adaptive equipment and availability to as many families as possible.
