Family Barn Days

Twice annually, the Foundation hosts fun outdoor family events at our barn in Leesburg, VA. The events include a fully catered meal, kid’s entertainment including bouncing castles, arts and crafts, pony rides, face painting, an outdoor movie and fireworks to end the event. High school volunteers keep the children with special needs and their siblings well entertained, so Mom and Dad can enjoy a nice picnic dinner, while enjoying social times with other parents.

Visiting Therapy Dog

Mr. Bob’s Best Friends

Named after one of our dedicated Trustees, the Faith and Family Foundation looks forward to offering an adoptive therapy dog program in the near future. This program will work to place specially trained, GCC certified companion therapy dogs with specially identified, disabled children. The dogs will be specially bred and chosen to work specifically as companions for special needs children and their families, and will only be placed with children and families who meet very specific criteria based on established therapeutic need, and ability to care for the dog.
